Run the installer. It installs just for you, so no admin password is needed.

Click Generate. Your MP3 or WAV is saved and ready for your video.

User Guide

Everything you need to get started with Golpo Voice.

1. Install Golpo Voice

Click Free Download above to get Golpo-Voice-Setup-1.0.0.exe.
Open the file. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info and then Run anyway. This notice appears for new apps from independent developers.
Choose where to install (or keep the default) and click Install. A desktop and Start menu shortcut are created for you.

2. Make your first narration

Open Golpo Voice. The first launch takes a few seconds while the voice model loads. The badge at the top turns green when it's ready.
Add a title, then paste your script into the big text box, or click Import .txt.
Pick a voice from the Voice list. Click the speaker button next to it to hear a short preview.
Set Speed, Pause between sentences and the Format (MP3 or WAV).
Click Generate voice, or press Ctrl + Enter.

3. Find and manage your files

New narrations appear under Saved narrations. Play them, star them, or search by title, text or voice.
Files are saved to Documents\Golpo Voice. Click the folder button at the top to open it.
To save somewhere else, open Settings (gear icon) and click Change….

Tips for the most natural sound

End every sentence with a full stop, question mark or exclamation mark. Golpo Voice uses these to place natural pauses.
Leave a blank line between paragraphs to get a longer pause there.
Abbreviations like "Dr." or "U.S." and decimals like "3.5" are handled correctly and won't cause an awkward break.
If voices ever stop working, open Settings and click Restart voice engine.

Is Golpo Voice really free?

Yes. It's free to download and use, with no trial period, no word limit, no watermark and no account.

Can I use the voice-overs in my YouTube videos?

Yes. You can use the audio you create in your videos, courses, podcasts and other projects. The Kokoro voice model inside Golpo Voice is released under the Apache 2.0 licence, which allows commercial use.

Does it need the internet?

Only to download the installer. After that, everything runs on your PC, so it works offline and your scripts stay private.

Windows says "Windows protected your PC". Is it safe?

This message appears for new apps from independent developers that Windows hasn't seen many downloads of yet. Click More info, then Run anyway to continue installing.

Which languages are supported?

Version 1.0 includes 28 English voices with American and British accents. More languages may come in future updates.

Is there a Mac version?

Not yet. Golpo Voice is currently available for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit).

How do I uninstall it?

Open Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps, find Golpo Voice and click Uninstall. Your saved narrations in Documents\Golpo Voice are kept unless you delete them.
